Evil Dead: The Game, Is this the game to Destroy Dead By Daylight?
Evil Dead:Â The Game is the next attempt to make the next big survival horror asymmetric multiplayer online game. Dead By Daylight might be a glitchy mess, but its community stayed active even if the fanbase complained. There have been many attempts to make a game with four vs. one mechanics, but none of them managed to have an active player base.
Some of them have the potential to be huge, like Friday the 13th, VHS, Home Sweet Home, Resident Evil Resistance, and Last Year, but they didn’t leave enough impression to keep the number of players active.
Evil Dead:Â The Game is based on the movie franchise of the same name. Ash Williams, who is the franchise’s lead character, is even a DLC Survivor in Dead by Daylight, with Bruce Campbell lending his face and voice. Now you can play as Ash again but in his prime.
Evil Dead: The Game – Launch Trailer
Unlike Dead by Daylight, Where the Survivors are utterly helpless against the killers. Evil Dead: The Game gives the characters weapons and the ability to defend themselves. There will also be hoards of deadites that they have to deal with aside from the “Killer” they have to deal with. The Killer equivalent of this game will be called demons.
The four survivors must work together to defeat the horde of Deadites and the Demon that leads them to win.
The Gameplay reminds me more of Friday the 13th and Resident Evil Resistance
The Maps the survivors have to explore are larger than most asymmetric survival horrors. The Massively wide maps can be explored easier because you can use vehicles for faster travel.
Survivors can loot for weapons and supplies to help them achieve their objectives. Aside from Directly attacking Survivors, the Demons can control the Deadites to make the lives of the Survivors much more complicated. Evil Dead: The Game is available for all last gen, current-gen consoles, and PC.
