Another character has gotten a brutal reveal trailer for their arrival in Mortal Kombat X. This time though it’s the gun-slinging Erron Black.
In the trailer he’s fighting Kung Jin and uses his guns and other arsenal to great effect. And true to form, he has a very brutal fatality. Why wouldn’t he after all? This is Mortal Kombat.
Yesterday’s revealed character, Mortal Kombat veteran Liu Kang, got some details on his fighting styles that’ll be available to him in the game.
First up is Liu Kang’s Dragon Fire style. According to the team at Netherrealm via a livestream, this style will reflect Liu Kang’s classic moveset from past titles. A moveset which includes his Bicycle Kick. No doubt players will refresh themselves with this style before going to the others.
The Flame Fist style will actually replace Liu Kang’s Bicycle Kick with a multi-punch maneuver. Netherrealm jokingly called this the “Bicycle Punch”.
Finally, there is The Dualist, which is kind of two forms in one, as Liu Kang will be able to switch between Light and Dark stances. At present, the only noticable difference between them is that Liu Kang’s fireball in the Light stance is faster than the Dark stance.
Stay tuned for more details as Mortal Kombat X draws closer to its April 14th release date.

Developer Monochrome and Publisher Hatinh Interactive have announced Tandem: A Tale of Shadows, a puzzle platformer with a Verne-inspired story and Burton-inspired visuals.
