Elden Henson Talks Daredevil and Foggy Nelson
At a panel during Emerald City Comic Con, Elden Henson, who plays Foggy Nelson on the popular Daredevil series, talked to fans about his role and the show itself. He was quick to note the talented writers they have, and even went so far as to say he wasn’t at all responsible for its success:
“We have amazing writers on the show,” Henson, sporting an un-Foggy-like beard, said. “I feel like I have very little to do with the success of the show. Our writers are really, really talented. They understand the world in a way I don’t think I ever could.”
He recalled how he got the role, via an interview on Skype that kept getting interrupted, and thus he’s amazed he still has the job:
“I still can’t even believe I’m on the show,” Henson said. “I have a two year old, so my life is about diapers and bath time, so I forget sometimes I have this other life.”
Naturally, the conversation turned to what he knew about Daredevil Season 03, he answered honestly:
“I’m going to let you in on a little secret: I have no idea what’s going to happen,” Henson said, though he made it clear he’d be interested in appearing as Foggy on other Marvel projects. “That’s one of the cool things about being on a Marvel show. There’s the possibility for all of these characters to collide.”
