UPDATE!!!!!!: Microsoft has revealed that the console will actually be named the Xbox One X. No price has been given as of yet, but stay tuned! The console has been confirmed for a November 17th launch day. The $499 price has been confirmed as well.
For a while now, Microsoft has been using the name “Project Scorpio” to codename their next console which will reportedly be the most powerful console ever made. Well, just before the Microsoft Press Conference at E3, a Best Buy Canada Newsletter released a picture that seems to indicate that the console will be called Xbox Scorpio.
Adding to the interesting tidbits before the conference, video game journalist, insider, and reporter Geoff Keighley noted this on Twitter:
I can now say with confidence Project Scorpio is $499. Unless something changes today, that is what will be announced.
