Dying Light: Techland Planning Free DLC With New Twitter Campaign
Techland has officially announced plans to release more free DLC for Dying Light through a Twitter campaign called #DrinkForDLC. Through the campaign, Techland is playfully encouraging gamers to drink water in exchange for a free docket code. That code provides players a high-tier weapon that can be redeemed in-game.
As a result of the success of the campaign across the globe, Techland has announced a new level of the #DrinkForDLC campaign. The developers have now designed and created a number of new free DLC packs for the first-person zombie survival game that will be released throughout the second half of 2015. The campaign will be led by fans reaching stretch goals. Fans can take part in the campaign by posting pictures of themselves drinking water on Twitter and tagging them with #DrinkForDLC. One can argue this is a better and healthier way to get DLC content instead of buying and drinking Redbull.
Players who have participated before will have their submissions added to the total tweet count. The first stretch goal is a 50 percent XP boost to player agility. This perk will be active for 24 hours starting Sunday, June 28 (PST). More campaign progress will be released through the official Dying Light Twitter account throughout July 2015.
Dying Light is currently available for Xbox One, PlayStaiton 4 and Windows PC.
