Dying Light: New The Following DLC Gamplay Footage Revealed
Techland this week revealed a new gameplay video for the upcoming new story-based DLC for the first-person zombie horror game Dying Light, The Following. You can check out the video in the player below, which features over 15 minutes of uncut gameplay footage along with commentary from the development team. It originally appeared on Techland’s Twitch stream.
The video features “The Trust Is Out There” quest chain, and it showcases some of the key new features for Dying Light: the Following. One of the biggest aspects for the new DLC is a massive, new open-world map, new drivable dirt buggies and new ranged weapons.
In The Following, Kyle Crane goes through a hazardous outback ruled by mysterious and fanatical cultists. Their beliefs seem to have some disturbing connections with the Harran zombie outbreak. The release date will be revealed later on, and it will be priced at $14.99. Season Pass holders will receive it completely for free.
In addition, Techland also announced that the second edition of Beyond Dying Light Dev Tools contest for innovative fan-made maps is in its final week. Submissions for the contest are set to close on August 31. Winners will receive an Alienware Alpha i7 and a Dying Light-branded backpack filled with various branded swag.
