After the success of the last Dying Light live-action, zombie parkour short, Techland has teamed with Flying Carpet Studio for a new live short based on the game. The video for “The Last Supply Drop” is available below.
Unlike the zombie parkour short, “The Last Supply Drop” is not shot in first-person perspective, though there are some shots in that perspective as zombies come in at tear at the flesh of the survivors. The narrative follows four quarantine survivors going on a last ditch run to get an air-drop with crucial supplies. The video is action packed with lots of parkour movement, car traps and even the game’s awesome, trademark dropkick attacks. The short film even features what appears to be a live-action version of the mutant Night Hunter zombies toward the end. These short, little videos are a lot of fun and definitely capture the spirit of the games.
The first-person zombie survival video game, Dying Light, is currently available worldwide in digital form and box copies in North and South America for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC. The physical box release in Europe, Asia, Africa and Oceania is set for Friday, February 27?
