DOOM Reboot Set for Unveiling at E3 on June 14, First In-Game Footage Revealed
Gamers will soon prepare to face their DOOM once more. The classic video game franchise will soon make its glorious return. But first, Bethesda Softworks released a short teaser for the game’s official unveiling next month at the Electronic Entertainment Expo. The short teaser video is available below.
The video offers the first publicly released look at in-game footage from Bethesda’s upcoming DOOM reboot. The footage is very brief. There is only a short look at a sawed off shotgun being loaded and a demonic looking skeleton creature with shoulder mounted cannons firing at you while it screams.
Bethesda recently worked its magic on the classic video game franchise Wolfenstein with its recent Wolfenstein: The New Order reboot. It will be interesting to get a better idea of how a new update of the DOOM franchise will turn out. Previously, some footage was screened at QuakeCon last year and received a lot of positive reports. Hopefully at E3, more details will be clarified regarding exactly who is in charge of developing the game. If similar results with the new DOOM game that were achieved with Wolfenstein: The New Order, it could mean great things for the franchise and fans.
The game will be fully unveiled at Bethesda’s E3 Showcase, which is scheduled for Sunday, June 14 at 7 pm PT.
