Don’t Worry Darling – A 1950s housewife stuck in a stepford wives nightmare
Don’t Worry Darling is a horror movie directorial debut of Olivia Wilde. The actress turned director shows promise in the horror genre because the trailer puts dread to a different level. She also played a role in this film because it saved her cash from hiring an actress.
It is also the acting debut of former One Direction member Harry Styles. The main male character of the movie franchise “After” is based on fanfiction about him. Now it is ironic that he plays a character similar to Hardin Scott. It is also interesting that we have two British leads in a movie playing American characters. Their American accents are impressive that if I don’t know who they are, I will really think they are American. If you loved Chris Pine in the two Wonder Woman movies, You would hate him here because he plays one of the most sinister villains ever. Also joining the star-studded ensemble are Gemma Chan, KiKi Layne, Nick Kroll, and Dita Von Teese.
Don’t Worry Darling Trailer
Alice (Florence Pugh) is in a beautiful marriage with her husband, Jack (Harry Styles). Nothing screams the American dream but living in the suburbs with white picket fences. Jack and Alice move to a gated community that looks like a Utopian Paradise. This community is experimental, and it was led by Frank (Chris Pine). The subdivision is owned by the company where Alice’s husband works. The place looked perfect, but Alice started to feel there was something off with the other homemakers. Since she is primarily a stay-at-home wife, Alice never knew the nature of her husband’s work. It is a curiosity Alice wants to find out, but ignorance is bliss. Finding it out makes her want to get out of the place she calls home.
Don’t Worry Darling will be in theaters this September 23, 2022, and after 45 days, It will be in HBO Max.

I find it strange to see her in romantic moments.
Is it just me, or did many cast members appear in a Marvel/DC film?

Florence needed to be careful on her next onscreen boyfriends. Her men keep dragging her back into cults, first in Midsommar and now in this film. Harry Styles is undoubtedly one of the film’s antagonists.
Since Dunkirk, he’s come a long way in acting. Olivia Wilde is not an exceptionally talented actor. But damn, she looks gifted as a director. Even book smart was pretty good, but sadly it didn’t do well at the Box office.

Yes, in a way like Get Out. Being all uncomfortable out there and meeting much opposition when trying to get out. Harry is not himself either.
