Deep Sixed Coming To Steam Next Monday
Somewhere far off in space, there’s a Tesla car with an astronaut suit in it floating around. But somewhere ELSE in space, a monopolistic corporation is recruiting jailed convicts to perform dangerous space missions against their will. That’s the backstory behind Deep Sixed, a new point-and-click adventure game from Little Red Dog Games.
All alone in space – and with a rapidly deteriorating spaceship to boot – your job is to explore as much of the dangerous nebula as humanly possible. The journey ahead will be fraught with all sorts of hazards – and it’s up to you to keep the engines (and everything else) running smoothly. Ship parts can malfunction at the worst possible times – and they’ll fail catastrophically when you least expect it. That’s when you’ll need to choose between conducting an extensive (but inconvenient) repair or go for the “MacGyver” approach so you can focus on the actual threat lurking just outside … and very much alive!
The worlds you explore will be procedurally generated, so you never know what’s lurking around the next corner. If you think you’re up to it. you can get Deep Sixed on Steam February 12. The introductory price for the first week will be $9.74, but it’ll return to its intended price of $12.99 two weeks later.
