If it’s dangerous to go alone…why go alone? Indie game studio Twinterainment has announced Dark Dragonkin, an oldschool adventure RPG game in the spirit of Zelda, but with a group twist.
You and your fellow adventurers are at the entrance to a vast dungeon filled with treasure…but also monsters. Each of you carries a special skill, and none of you could defeat everything the dungeon has to throw at you alone, so why not team up? You’ll be guiding the crew in turns as they unlock puzzles and team up to defeat foes.
“I want to capture the spirit of classic adventures”, says Wade Adams, solo dev at Twintertainment. “Dark Dragonkin is a top-down puzzle role playing game which gameplay will remind you of The Lost Vikings.”
You control each character separately.
Each character has their own unique skills to get past obstacles.
Every Level is like an old school RPG puzzle.
Even the enemies are puzzles of how to avoid or destroy them.
You must figure out how to gather the party at the exit portal to advance.
Powerful bosses that are a challenging puzzle to defeat to gain passage through their realm.
Dark Dragonkin will be available for PCs via Steam in the second quarter of 2021.
