Code Veronica Fan Remake latest developments
Code Veronica Fan Remake is the closest thing we will get for a Code Veronica Remake. I had written a report about it a long time ago and the latest developments looks polished. After the impressive sales of the Resident Evil remake despite the barebones content it had. Fans requested a Remake of Code Veronica because it is canonically the next game after Resident Evil. Sadly Capcom decided to skip and Make a Resident Evil 4 Remake instead.
Code Veronica Fan Remake
This is not an official release from Capcom so it is going to be for free upon release. The Original Resident Evil: Code Veronica happens months after Claire escaped Raccoon City. This fan game will reuse assets from Resident Evil 2 remake, Resident Evil 7, Resident evil Village, and Resident Evil Darkside Chronicles. Claire’s Remake model is used for this game so she will use the likeness of Jordan Mcewen again. The Voice acting from Darkside Chronicles will be used so fans of Alison Court will hear her play Claire again. Fans were upset back then when Alison was replaced in Darkside Chronicles and the remake.
The Project have an official website where you can see a gallery and some information about the project. They are also the same team behind the Resident Evil Remake Remake, Which is a fan Remake of the first game that uses the over the shoulder camera angle instead of the Fixed Camera Angle of the first remake. Claire having a Boss fight with Tyrant 0-78 brings back some nostalgia when I played the original.
Claire also had her first encounter with the controversial Alfred Ashford.
The Dodge Mechanic from Resident Evil 3 remake and the Knife defense from Resident Evil 2 Remake also makes a return. The Camera turns into the first person when the player aims before making attacks.
