Cobra Kai VI will be the Final Season

 

 

Cobra Kai’s announcement for Season 6 got released by Netflix. It looks ravishingly epic as always because this Karate Kid revival creates the Miyagi-verse.

The Miyagi-verse is composed  First 4 Karate Kid movies and The Cobra Kai TV show. However,The Karate Kid animated series and The Jaden Smith Reboot are not part of it. Karate kid 4 aka The Next Karate kid is also part of the canon but It’s main character Julie Piece (Hillary Swank) have yet to make an appearance to the series.

If you are a fan of the Karate Kid movies, you will love this because it is a love letter to the fans. People who never watched a single Karate kid movie adored this show as well.

 

Every Season there is a character from the movies who makes special appearances. All episodes of the first 5 seasons of Cobra Kai are available on YouTube. It started as a Youtube Original that became too big for the platform. The moment Netflix picked it up, it exploded.

30 years after the events of the Karate Kid 3. Cobra Kai’s plot starts with Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) He is the villain in the first Karate Kid movie.

He is middle aged, divorced and suffering financially while Daniel Larusso (Ralph Macchio) the boy he use to bully became the successful successor of Mister Miyagi. Their rivalry continues through their apprentices.

The rivals fought against each other then eventually fight together as allies. It is an ultimate redemption story.The show got praised for the fight choreography and well written plot.
