Channing Tatum stars in Dog
Channing Tatum stars in the Movie Dog. The Movie has a very catchy catchphrase that makes you curious about the Premise. “A Filthy Animal not fit for a Human company and a Dog.”
It is a love story like no other and it is going to be one of the movies this coming Valentine’s weekend. Briggs is going on a road trip with a Belgian Malinois named Lulu. They are going to attend the funeral of their best friend. Lulu is a military dog and after the passing of her master, She was going to be euthanized because she is hostile to other people. Briggs and Lulu will have a Cat and dog-like banter on their road trip and he will learn to love her as grows she fond of him. The Bond he developed with the Lulu will make him try to stop her upcoming euthanization.
The film is like a combination of Marley and Me and a Buddy cop movie. It is completely fictional but it has a real-life inspiration that is very personal to Chan. Aside from the Magic Mike franchise, this is his second movie that took inspiration from his personal experiences. This time was inspired by his real-life best friend.
This process of making @DogTheFilm has been one of the craziest journeys of my life! Also, if you would enjoy watching me get bit by a dog, this will be a very fulfilling and funny movie for you. pic.twitter.com/bCEQY1qqbL

Dog hits close to home to Tatum as the character Lulu, is based on his real-life family dog. Lulu has been with him and his ex-wife Jenna Dewan when she was still alive. She passed away back in 2019. Her death inspired Channing Tatum to make a movie inspired by her.
A little over a year ago I got back from a road trip where I said goodbye to my best friend. Now I’m making a movie inspired by her. So proud to announce that DOG will be released by @MGM_Studios and in theaters next Valentine’s Day weekend. pic.twitter.com/JXDqEy85JZ

The journey and had from making this movie inspired him to adopt another dog to join his family.
This is the newest member of the Tatum tribe. Meet “Rook” or “Rooklin” 12 week old Dutch Shepard! He’s gonna be a goon. After i lost my LuLu i didn’t know when or if I’d be open to having another dog… https://t.co/28yNj3pqPC pic.twitter.com/DjyjAJtkcc

Aside from making this film. Tatum also wrote a children’s book inspired by his daughter. So that is another achievement on his list as a multimedia star. The dog movie is coming to theaters this February 18.
