Shadow Seven is a unique tactical strategy mobile game developed by Neptune. Set in a world struck by evil and chaos, Shadow Seven follows the story of the Moonlight Mercenaries who have sworn to bring back peace and protect the world from the Demon Duchess’ destruction. In Shadow Seven, players take command of the Moonlight Mercenaries (also known as Captains) who battle against an enemy Captain in a chessboard-like arena. The Captains take turns in controlling their different character units on the board to take down the enemy Captain quickly. Although Epic Games has primarily been known in recent times almost exclusively for the Gears of War and Unreal franchises, the company has begun to diversify into other areas over the past few years. This is no more exemplified by the latest announcement from the developer, a turn-based tactical RPG for mobile devices and PC dubbed Battle Breakers. The game appears at first glance in the trailer to be a standard game for the likes of Android and iOS and is an unusual tone for the studio generally known for its shooters. This is probably something to do with the stake that Chinese firm Tencent bought in Epic Games back in 2012. Since then, the developer has been working on games such as a new Unreal Tournament, Paragorn, and a MOBA called Fortnite. Battle Breakers has already launched in the Philippines so that it can be tested for bugs and gameplay balance and will be coming to the rest of the world later this year.

The Witcher Battle Arena trailer shows off the characters and their move sets, along with some of the environments that will be featured in the game. The Witcher Battle Arena will be released on mobile devices, and it has been promised to be balanced, accessible, and free-to-play. Currently, beta sign-ups are available on the game’s website, the beta will be available on Android, but the games full release will be on iOS and Windows phones and tablets as well. Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies Is Now Available On iOS

Capcom has announced that Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies is now available on iOS. You can download the first episode for free, though the other four episodes will cost $4.99. Alternatively, you can purchase all five episodes for $14.99. Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies originally released in October 2013 on the Nintendo 3DS. The game follows Phoenix Wright, fellow attorney Apollo Justice, and new character Athena Cykes as they solve various murders throughout the game.  You can download the episodes here.

XCOM: The Board Game is bringing the alien invasion strategy game to our tabletops. This game is said to be a cooperative strategy game where one to four players aim to defend Earth from aliens. XCOM: The Board Game uses a digital companion app which is said to be easy to use, and available online or as an app. “The app heightens suspense as it both coordinates the alien invasions and permits a dynamic turn structure, something that would be impossible without its use.” The app is said to track the amount of time players have to react to certain events, forcing players to act fast. The roles that players play in XCOM: The Board Game are different departments of XCOM, each with it’s own responsibilities. Flappy Bird returns for some new, challenging fun, with multi-player, too! Creator Dong Nguyen promised that Flappy Bird would return, and indeed it has. Flappy Birds Family is the name of the new Flappy Bird game, and is currently only available for the Amazon Fire TV, with a possible release on iOS and Android. The new game features Person vs. Person mode, and even more obstacles to face instead of only green pipes, with things like ghosts to avoid as well. Skinnier Minecraft Models Teased

Minecraft developer, Jens Bergensten, yesterday teased the possibility of skinnier player models for Minecraft. “Testing a possible feature for the future,” said Bergensten in a twitter post. On twitter, Bergensten presented us with screenshots of a side-by-side comparison of the current Minecraft player models and the newer, skinnier models. These models are different by merely one pixel of thickness on the arms. Previously four pixels, the newer arms are brought down to only three pixels, which may work better with some Minecraft skins.
