Call of Duty Black Ops III: Zombies "Shadows of Evil" Prologue Revealed
Activision and Treyarch have released new details and the prologue video for the Call of Duty Black Ops III: Zombies campaign. You can check out the “Shadows of Evil” prologue in the player below.
The Call of Duty franchise’s latest foray into the world of zombie horror, Shadows of Evil, will star Jeff Goldblum, Heather Graham, Neal McDonough and Ron Perlman. The new zombie campaign is a survival co-op experience that will be available with Call of Duty Black Ops III. Players will have to unravel a mystery, and they will get to explore a massive world inspired by 1940s film noir. Activision is promising that this will be the “deepest” Call of Duty Zombies experience ever. Those are lofty goals, but the time period for the campaign definitely sounds unique and interesting for the franchise.
From the looks of the trailer, Perlman plays a crooked boxer who beats his opponent with some loaded boxing gloves to get a shot at the title. Goldblum is a down-on-his-luck magician who has gone into a major amount of debt because of his wife. It looks like he takes out his frustrations on this by murdering either his wife or his stagehand. Heather Graham appears to be portraying a burlesque dancer who is trying to land a major movie deal. Neal McDonough could be playing a corrupt cop who is under investigation for bribery. Together, it appears they are drawn together in a plot where they have to fight for survival against hordes of the undead.
Call of Duty Black Ops III arrives on November 6 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Windows PC. More details on the Zombies Shadows of Evil campaign will be revealed later on.
