Call of Duty Black Ops III Zombies Continues With Der Eisendrache
Activision officially released a brand-new trailer for the next chapter of the Call of Duty: Black Ops III Zombies adventure this week. You can check out the new trailer for “Der Eisendrache” in the player below.
“Der Eisendrache” is a direct sequel to World War II-themed zombie adventure, “The Giant.” It will be released as a part of the upcoming Awakening DLC pack, which will be available for the PlayStation 4 console first in February. The Zombies adventure is included along with four new multiplayer maps: Skyjacked, Rise, Splash and Gauntlet. In “Der Eisendrache,” the characters of Origins, Richtofen, Nikolai, Takeo and Dempsey are on a suicide mission to an enemy research facility that was built on an archaic site of unspeakable horror. Massive deposits of Element 115 were discovered, and it has given birth to an undead horde.
The setting for the Nazi base in this game looks awesome. It looks like it was taken right out of the classic war movie Where Eagles Dare, which also had a Nazi mountain fortress located deep in the mountains and was nigh-impregnable. And more than zombies, it looks like there is some sort of dragon or serpent monster too.
The Call of Duty Black Ops III: Awakening DLC pack will be available for the PlayStation 4 on February 2. The DLC will be available for other consoles later on. It will be available as part of the Season Pass or as an individual DLC purchase.
