Bloody Ballet Dances Onto VOD This November
High Octane Pictures is delivering one Bloody Ballet to horror fans next month. Adriana Mena is an aspiring ballet dancer who’s landed her dream role in the upcoming big performance of The Nutcracker. Being at the top, however, doesn’t seem to satisfy her. Before long she’s experiencing overwhelming feelings of jealousy and tension, and they may be supernatural in origin. What’s really going on with Adriana?
Bloody Ballet is described as a Giallo film — “a horror-thriller that blends the atmosphere and suspense of thriller fiction with elements of horror fiction and eroticism.” Suspiria is definied as a Giallo film — and what a coincidence, there happens to be a remake out. It’s also coming out around the same time as Disney’s new Nutcracker movie, in case anybody thinks “this is fine, but I wish there were more stabbings.”
Bloody Ballet stars Caroline Williams (Texas Chainsaw Massacre II, Halloween II), Debbie Rochon (Model Hunger, Death House), Katie Carpenter (“The Haunting of Hill House”), Brett Wagner (The Happytime Murders), and Rob Springer (Bombshell Bloodbath). It was directed by Brett Mullen, and based on a script co-written by Mullen and Matt Cloude.
Check out Bloody Ballet when it arrives on VOD November 13, and when it appears on DVD December 4.
