Bethesda announces Dawnguard now available for PC
Revealed earlier today at QuakeCon 2012, Bethesda has announced that Dawnguard, the first official game add-on for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, is now available to PC users. The English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish versions can be downloaded from Steam for $19.99.
PS3 users are still completed left in the dark as to when it will arrive on their platform, another shrewd move on Bethesda’s part to be sure.
A basic outline for the Dawnguard DLC can be found below:
The Vampire Lord Harkon has returned to power. Using the Elder Scrolls, he seeks to do the unthinkable – to end the sun itself. Will you join the ancient order of the Dawnguard and stop him, or will you yourself become a Vampire Lord? Featuring an all new faction questline, new locations, weapons, creatures and more; the ultimate choice will be yours.
At last! You have to give them props for just announcing it’s available ‘right now’ instead of saying when ahead of time. Not that I liked waiting, but hey, I survived.
