Vehicles will have regenerative health, as long as you keep them out of line of enemy sight for sufficient time. However, if they cross a certain limit will become unusable. For the first time in a Battlefield game, you will still be able to use the vehicles on-board weaponary to lay down cover-fire while engineers repair the damage. DICE has also confirmed that you will be able to customise the weaponary and equipement used to better suit your individual play-style.
