Batman Vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Announced By WB
The following image I am about to share with you is not fanart. It’s not a painting I picked up from a Comic-Con booth. It’s not even a comic book panel, where such events are more commonplace. This is an actual thing that is actually happening in an actual animated movie.
Just look at it. IT’S BEAU-U-U-TI-FUUUUULLLLLL…. *sobs*
To understand why we thought something like Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles could never happen…..The Turtles are strictly a Viacom/Paramount property now, while Batman has been solidly married to Warner Bros. since the 1970s. In order for them to both appear in the same movie, two giant conglomerates would have to get along, and possibly even share profits. Guess the impossible has happened!
And the voice cast sounds great too. Troy Baker will play both Batman and the Joker (which makes him the first actor to pull this off), Darren Criss will voice Raphael, Kyle Mooney is Michelangelo, Baron Vaughn is Donatello, Eric Bauza is Leonardo, Rachel Bloom (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend) is Batgirl, Tom Kenny is the Penguin, John DiMaggio is Mr. Freeze, Carlos Alazraqui will voice Bane, Cas Anvar plays Ra’s al Ghul, and Tara Strong (who had to be in this list somewhere) plays both Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy,
We live in a pretty harsh and divided world these days, but the sight of Batman and the Ninja Turtles working together may be just enough to inspire harmony. Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be out on Blu-Ray and DVD this spring.
