Batman Arkham Knight: New Videos Showcase Red Hood Story Pack and Amazing Graphics
Some new video clips were recently released online for one of the most anticipated games of the year in Batman Arkham Knight. You can check out the latest videos, one which is the Red Hood Story Pack trailer and the other is a showcase of the NVIDIA GameWorks effects in the game, in the players below.
One of the more exciting additions for Batman Arkham Knight is the inclusion of the Jason Todd version of Red Hood. In recent years, Jason Todd was resurrected and donned the mantle of Red Hood, the original criminal alter-ego for The Joker before he became The Joker. Todd became a more vicious and brutal vigilante, who does not share Batman’s rule of refusing to kill criminals. The presence of Jason Todd as Robin Hood for the game does seem to definitively rule him out as the true identity of the Arkham Knight.
The other video is from NVIDIA and showcases the effects in the game powered by NVIDIA GameWorks. The game certainly looks fantastic in the clips, but sometimes great looking trailers can be misleading and look much better than the builds in the final product. GameWorks Technology was used to help provide the game’s interactive fog and smoke, paper debris, enhanced rain and PhysX Destruction. Batman Arkham Knight certainly looks like a true next-gen game, so hopefully it lives up to the hype.
Batman Arkham Knight’s wait is nearly over. The game finally hits the shelves on June 23 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC.
