Batman Arkham Knight has already hit the consoles and has been out for almost two months. However, there is still a lot of new DLC content in store for the game that will be released over the coming months. One such DLC pack for Arkham Knight is the 1989 Batman Movie Pack, which features a new Batman skin of Batman with his costume from the classic 1989 Batman movie directed by Tim Burton and the original Burton movie Batmobile. The new DLC pack was spotlighted in a brand new edition of Batman Arkham Insider, which was released by Rocksteady Studios this week. You can check out Arkham Insider Episode 7 in the player below.
The DLC pack features new Batmobile race tracks based on scenes and sets from the 1992 film Batman Returns, directed by Tim Burton. That means the tracks have The Penguin’s trademark duck vehicles rolling around and other visual designs inspired by the film. It sounds like Danny Elfman’s classic Batman theme is even used for the DLC, which is a nice touch. The bad news? The Burton Batmobile will likely only be available for the new DLC race tracks and apparently not in free roam, since the Burton Batmobile cannot conceivably transform for Battlemode. The video also provides a look at a new DLC AR Challenge for Robin, the Boy Wonder. The developers did not take any fan questions for the team to answer for this video session as they did in previous session.
The 1989 Batman Movie Skin and Batmobile DLC pack is set to drop later this month. Batman Arkham Knight is available now for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The Windows PC version is still being rectified after it was pulled due to players having technical issues with that version.
