Batman Arkham Knight: New Characters Confirmed for the Game
A number of new characters have been confirmed to appear in Batman Arkham Knight, the highly anticipated sequel to Batman: Arkham City and the final installment of Rocksteady Studios’ Batman: Arkham Trilogy. The new characters who were revealed are not necessarily big leaps in logic to predict based off of the events of the last game. In short, Robin (aka Tim Drake), Nightwing (aka Dick Grayson), Azrael (aka Michael Lane) and Catwoman (aka Selina Kyle) are all confirmed for the game.
In addition, Rocksteady and publisher Warner Bros. Interactive have released some new teaser video clips for Batman Arkham Knight, counting down to the next trailer release which is coming in two days. You can check out the countdown teaser videos featuring brief looks at Azrael and Catwoman from Arkham Knight below.
But that’s not all. The game’s official website released some spaces for special passcodes. If you enter the following passcodes into the designated spaces, you will unlock some new character gifs and profiles for the aforementioned characters (H/T to YouTube’s Knightwing01 for the passwords).
Nightwing: flyinggraysons
Robin: bostaff
Catwoman: parkrow
Azrael: suitofsorrows
It is currently unknown if these characters will be playable. So far, Batman, Harley Quinn and Red Hood are confirmed as playable characters for the game. It would not be surprising if Catwoman, Nightwing and Robin received some Challenge Map packs like Batman: Arkham City, or perhaps they will get some play time in a DLC release. Batman Arkham Knight is due out on June 23. The game will be available PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
