Batman Arkham Knight: New Catwoman DLC and Classic 1960s Batmobile DLC Revealed
Today sees the release of some new DLC for Batman Arkham Knight from Warner Bros. Interactive and Rocksteady Studios, including the 2008 Tumbler Batmobile Pack and the Original Arkham Batman Skin. In addition, the Original Arkham Bamtan Skin will be a free download for all PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owners of the game. However, Rocksteady has officially revealed even more new DLC that will be released soon for the game starting htis October. This includes the Catwoman’s Revenge DLC pack, the Batman Classic TV Series Batmobile Pack and the Crime Fighter Challenge Pack #3.
Since the announcement that the Batmobile would be included in the game, many Batman fans have been demanding that their favorite version of Batman’s iconic ride make it into the game. This includes the Batmobile from the 1960s Batman TV series starring Adam West and Burt Ward. At launch, the game was released with a skin labeled as the 1960s Batmobile, but it was nothing more than an alternate paint job. Well, the new Classic TV Series Batmobile Pack will actually include the classic 1960s TV Series Batmobile skin this time. So you can cruise around Gotham City with the car. What else? The DLC pack includes alternate skins for Robin and Catwoman based on the 1960s TV series. There are also two new racetracks inspired by the classic Batman TV series.
Catwoman’s Revenge will be a new story DLC where players will get to take the role of Catwoman as she seeks revenge against The Riddler. It sounds like it will be similar to the Harley Quinn and Red Hood DLC packs.
Finally, the last pack is the Crime Fighter Challenge Pack #3. This will feature new combat and predator DLC maps that will be playable for Batman, Nightwing, Robin and Azrael. Getting more challenge maps is always a plus, even if it was a disappointment that the core game did not really feature them.
The 2008 Tumbler Batmobile Pack is available now for the game for $1.99 via PlayStation Network and Xbox Live.
