Batman Arkham Knight: New Arkham Insider Video Features E3 Gameplay
This week finally marks the long-awaited release week of the highly anticipated sequel, Batman Arkham Knight. Shortly after the 2015 E3, Rocksteady Studios and Warner Bros. Interactive released the latest Arkham Insider video blog for the game, which showcased some of the E3 demo stages that were available to play for attendees during the Expo. The latest Arkham Insider video is available in the player below.
The video offers a look at a new Predator stage, where Batman has to deal with some of Two-Face’s thugs as they are robbing a bank. The video shows how Batman can takedown thugs under cover from the noise of the bank alarm. In addition, Batman can now use his grappling hook to sail into vents embedded in the walls and seamlessly slide down those vent shafts into ones underground. The video also offers a look at a pursuit and chase of Batman Rogues Gallery villain Firely. Batman tracks him down to a firehouse and gives chase to the villain in the Batmobile. Firefly’s look is reminiscent of his design from Batman: Arkham Origins, which was not developed by Rocksteady. Some additional footage shows how Batman can takedown a getaway car with some thugs driving it while gliding in the air. That looks like a very exciting new feature for the game.
The wait for Batman Arkham Knight is nearly over. The game finally hits the shelves on Tuesday, June 23 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
