Rocksteady Studios, DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Interactive have released a new gameplay trailer this week for Batman Arkham Knight. The new “Gotham is Mine” video is available below.
The new video confirms the appearance of other members of Batman’s Rogues Gallery for the game, including Poison Ivy and Firefly, who were not yet confirmed for the game before. Poison Ivy encounters Batman and reveals that Scarecrow formulated a plan that all of Batman’s rogues could combine their forces to kill him once and for all. Batman grouses, “Over my dead body.” Poison Ivy responds, “I believe that was the idea.” The footage also provides a look at other Rogues Gallery members The Penguin, The Riddler, Two-Face, Haley Quinn, Scarecrow and the Arkham Knight.
Based on the latest trailer, Scarecrow appears to be the mastermind for the latest plot to destroy Gotham City and Batman. The rogues bring all-out war to Gotham City and claim it as their own.
Batman Arkham Knight marks epic conclusion to Rocksteady’s Batman: Arkham Trilogy series of games. It was recently confirmed that the game will be M-rated, making it the first installment in the franchise to be classified as M for Mature. Arkham Knight will be available on June 2 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
