AVerMedia Introduces Entry-Level Streaming Kit
You fancy yourself a good video game player, with a quick wit for commentating, and dream of someday making acres of cash off your own bath water. AVerMedia, producers of products used by many Twitch streamers, is introducing a new all-in-one device to the market built specifically for streaming on Twitch (or Mixer, if Microsoft pays you off).
The Live Streamer 311 – BO311, launching just now in England, contains a game capture card capable of capturing full HD footage at 60 fps, an HD webcam with “AI features” (AVer does not mention what these are) and a condenser USB microphone. Plug this stuff into any USB 2.0 port, insert your game console connections and you’re good to go.
“With the Live Streamer 311 – BO311, the dream of being a streamer has never been easier to achieve. [It] brings content creators and gamers an all-in-one ready to use solution,” brags EddieChen, Product Planning Manager of AVerMedia. “Aspiring streamers will be able to create entertaining full HD content with studio-like vocals in no time with this intuitive and high value package!”
This stuff doesn’t come cheap, of course. The Live Streamer 311 hasn’t launched in the US yet, but in the UK it costs , or $267.31 when converted to US dollars. Based on that, we’d estimate a $249.99 sticker when it shows up here. It usually costs more, though, to buy these elements separately.
