Avengers: Age of Ultron Concept Art, With Special Guest Appearance By Stan Lee
Marvel Studios has revealed a batch of new concept art for the upcoming Avengers: Age of Ultron, revealing the cinematic versions of everyone’s favorite uncomfortably close brother and sister duo, Quicksilver and The Scarlet Witch.
Plus they threw in a picture of the Hulk and Black Widow.
The new characters are clearly modernized, without much in the way of the visual style of their comic book counterparts. Scarlet Witch is simply wearing a red jacket, and Quicksilver’s blue running suit is nondescript. If you told me these were original characters and said their names were, let’s see, Witchy Woman and Lickety Split, I’d believe you.
The characters were revealed on the Marvel Studios: Assembling a Universe special that aired last night on ABC.
But forget about that, what does Stan Lee think of Age of Ultron? Playboy asked him in what may be his final interview. When you get to Stan’s age, 91, every interview may be your final interview.
“I don’t have any idea who the hell Ultron is,” Stan said.
I love that. The whole interview is frank and well worth reading. Stay awesome, Stan.
