Today Ubisoft® unveils more songs from the tracklist of its highly anticipated game Just Dance 3®. After thesuccess of the first two installments, which have sold more than 12 million units worldwide to date, Just Dance 3 returns with a brand new tracklist of more than 50 popular songs, each track featuring its own unique choreography.
Silicon Knights was first founded in 1992 by Dennis Dyack. They’re known for making Blood Omen: The Legacy of Kain, and partial development of Metal Gear Sold: The Twin Snakes. More recently, they’re known for creating Too Human for the Xbox 360. It’s also probably the most famous game by them considering it took almost a decade to make and didn’t have the greatest response. After a decade did the expectations get too high or did Silicon Knights fail to deliver? Do they deserve to make a sequel?
If you were to think about some of top gaming franchises of all time you would think Halo, Zelda, Mario, and Final Fantasy. Another franchise that would make the conversation would have to be Tom Clancy’s: Splinter Cell. There’s been five installments to this franchise as well as a few hand-held iterations. With the help of Michael Ironside, Sam Fisher has become one of the most iconic characters in the history of video games. Splinter Cell is a beloved franchise, but recently it has shown it has fallen afar from the greatness it used to have.
Over the years, the racing genre has taken on many variations. Each iteration seems to have a very specific fan base, and its just one those genres that you either love or hate. We have come to play traditional racing games like Need for Speed, Forza, and Grand Turismo, but then you have arcade-based racing titles like the classic Mario Kart, and newly introduced ModNation Racers. These are two very different variations of racing games; so what does Blur do? Blur takes the best of both arcade and simulation racing titles and turns it a fantastic package. When you think of hunting games you think of two names, Buck Hunter and Cabela’s. The hunting genre has always been an interesting one. They don’t have blockbuster sales like first person shooter’s or RPG’s, but they have a very distinct fan base.Some of the most successful hunting games are the arcade Buck Hunter’s with full size gun controllers.
