Earlier this week, Ubisoft fully revealed the next installment of the Assassin’s Creed franchise with Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. The new gameplay videos showed that the game is set during Victorian London at the height of Industrial Revolution. Along with the videos, Ubisoft provided us with a number of screenshots, environment images and also box art for the game. We’ve assembled the images, and you can check out all the pictures in the gallery below.
In Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, players will get to explore Victorian London at the height of the Industrial Revolution. Players will assume the roles of twin Assassin twin siblings Jacob and Evie Frye. Jacob is a hot-headed and rebellious leader of an underground gang. Eve is a master of stealth and control. The siblings must unite to challenge rivals, plutocrats and enemy Templars to free the masses from poverty and corruption. One of the new features for the game is a grappling zipline feature to travel over the rooftops of London.
It is being developed in association with nine studios, including Ubisoft Montreal, Ubisoft Singapore, Ubisoft Annecy, Ubisoft Montpellier, Reflections, a Ubisoft studio, Ubisoft Sofia, Ubisoft Shanghai, Ubisoft Kiev and Ubisoft Bucharest. Hopefully, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate will not suffer some of the numerous issues that plagued Assassin’s Creed Unity at launch.
Currently, Assasin’s Creed Syndicate is scheduled for an October 23 release for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
