Assassin's Creed Syndicate: New Story Trailer and Screenshots
Ubisoft has dropped a new story trailer along with some new screenshots for the highly anticipated latest installment of the Assassin’s Creed franchise, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. You can check out the new story trailer for the game, featuring a heaping amount of new gameplay footage, along with some new screenshots (courtesy of Ubisoft) below.
The trailer sets up the world of intrigue in Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. London in the 1860s is under the tyrannical rule of the Templars. The twin Master Assassins, Jacob and Evie Frye, seek to liberate London from the Templars and put a stop to their plans. As a result, Jacob and Evie help define the birth of organized crime. The trailer offers a look at the game’s cinematic story campaign and the dastardly Templar villains who Jacob and Evie will face throughout the game as they seek to bring their own brand of justice to Industrial London. It looks like the main villain is a character by the name of Crawford Starrick, who runs a complex web of an organization filled with nefarious underlings. Other bad guys who will likely be set up for assassin missions include the industrialist Rupert Ferris, the tycoon Pearl Attaway, the evil doctor John Elliotson, the mad scientist David Brewster and the professional gangster Maxwell Roth.
Assassin’s Creed Syndicate’s development is being led by Ubisoft Quebec and is scheduled for an October 23 release for PlayStation and Xbox One. The Windows PC release for Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is scheduled for November 19.
