Assassin's Creed Syndicate: Gameplay Video Highlights New Features
Ubisoft has released a new gameplay video with new footage for Assassin’s Creed. The new clips offer a summary of some of the new features and gameplay mechanics available to players for the newest installment to the franchise. The video is available in the player below.
One of the new reveals from the video is that players of Assassin’s Creed Syndicate can take things a step further now with dead bodies. In Syndicate, players will not only be able to hide dead bodies in things like haystacks, but they can actually retrieve those same dead bodies and move them to different locations. Playable Assassin character Jacob Frye is also equipped with a knife throwing feature. This can be used not only to take out assassination targets, but it can also be used as a distraction for enemies. Players can also cut down hanging objects like barrels to take out unsuspecting victims. It looks like a lot of detail was paid to recreating the St. Paul’s Cathedral in the game, which players can climb to the very top and observe the game’s absolutely gigantic looking open-world sandbox.
Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is currently scheduled for an October 23 release. The game will be available for Playstation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
