Assassin's Creed Syndicate: New Featurette Showcases Jacob and Evie Actors
Ubisoft has released a new behind-the-scenes featurette video for the next installment of the Assassin’s Creed franchise, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. The new video offers a closer look under the hood of the two main Assassin characters for the game, the twin siblings Jacob and Evie Frye. They are played by Paul Amos and Victoria Atkin respectively. The full video, which features gameplay footage and footage record at the San Diego Comic-Con, is available in the player below.
The new Assassin’s Creed Syndicate video drives home the back stories of the twin characters, who both joined the Assassin Brotherhood at a young age and traveled to London in order to take down the Templars. Amos and Atkin also both performed the motion capture along with the voice work for their roles, which is becoming more of the industry standard for big, cinematic type game releases like this one. The presence of Evie does also answer some of the complaints of the lack of female Assassin characters for Assassin’s Creed Unity. However, it seems the playable male Assassin character, Jacob, is still the primary character players will be utilizing for the new game.
Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is due out on October 23. The game will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
