Are Joker And Harley In Suicide Squad 2?

There’s a lot of confusion going on with the DCEU, and the people behind the scenes, like the actors, actresses, and directors, aren’t helping matters! Take for example the Suicide Squad situation. We know there’s a sequel, and they finally landed a director. But, there’s no certainty about who’s coming back, or is there? It’s assumed that the team (the ones that lived in the movie that is) are coming back, but those that watched the movie saw that at the end, Joker broke Harley Quinn out of prison. So, they’re not coming back, right?

Well, that’s where things get weird. You see, Joker and Harley are set to star in their own movie. One which will likely break the two apart, leading to a Gotham City Sirens film that will be headed up by Suicide Squad Director David Ayer. And yet, he posted on Twitter the other day a picture of Joker and Harley from Suicide Squad. And there’s conflicting reports stating they will or won’t be in the sequel, which at present doesn’t have a release date.

So, who is to be believed here? It’s hard to say, as the DCEU is constantly in flux. It’ll be easier to digest once we have all the official release dates.
