Time travel movies and TV shows have always been fun to me. The first TV show I remember watching about time travel was called “The Time Tunnel”. It came out in 1966. And of course the first episode was about the Titanic. Since it was the 60s, the episodes did not really address the ‘true black history” of America. I have seen different “spins” put on time travel when it comes to black people. I even watched a Doctor Who episode where his assistant was a young black woman. Dr. Who seemed oblivious to his surroundings during a particular time period. But his assistant was like “Hello! Do you see my skin color?” LOL. “Alice” sounds interesting. But for the record, the Civil Rights was 1963. Not 1973.
