Airoheart Unveils New Logo And Key Art
Last week we reported on a Zelda-inspired (Link to the Past in particular) adventure game called Airoheart. It’s being developed by the Australian indie team Pixel Heart Studios, and their 2020 Kickstarter campaign raised $28,492 Australian dollars, or $20,534 in US currency. Now, as the game barrels toward its intended release window, we’re hearing a lot more about it.
Last week’s news was that Airoheart had landed a publishing deal with the distributor SOEDESCO, and this week Pixel Heart has revealed an updated logo for the game as well as a clearer look at the game’s protagonist. Airoheart is the name of a person…a citizen of the land of Engard, a continent currently being torn apart by war. Airoheart hoped for a quiet life away from the conflict, but when he discovers a much bigger danger that threatens life itself, he has no choice but to venture forth, brave hideous beasts, solve difficult puzzles and save Engard.
The Kickstarter promised a March 2022 release for Airoheart and we currently don’t see a reason to think they won’t make that date. Pixel Heart has announced a closed beta for the game that will take place in February. If the beta tests go smoothly, we could very well see the game come out in March, though that’s not a promise.
