Adult Swim Premieres For The Weekend Of September 23
Primal concluded its second season with a bang last weekend, but since there aren’t any more cavemen or dinosaurs, that leaves Rick And Morty the lone attraction of Adult Swim this week. They won’t be solitary for long, however…AS’s latest original anime, Housing Complex C, debuts in a week or two.
Just like last week, Adult Swim refuses to give any real hints about what we’re getting from Rick And Morty this Sunday. They only provided one sentence, again with “broh” in it. so that just leaves us to decipher the teaser they’ve placed online…
Fortunately this preview is a lot more leading than last week’s was. Beth can’t sleep, and when Jerry begins mumbling in HIS sleep she has to go downstairs to the couch….and that’s when she discovers her dad, moving around on his own. Rick is a sleepwalker? Of his own free will, it turns out….he’s got a gadget that programs a “night person” to do tasks unconsciously that he doesn’t want to take care of himself. The family is impressed and wants their own Night People too. We’re sure this can’t possibly end badly.
Rick And Morty airs Sunday, September 25 at 11 PM ET/PT, and appears the next day on HBO Max. And for the inside dirt on last week’s episode, “Bethic Twinstinct,” check out this bonus video….
