A Plague Tale: Requiem , Sequel to the Ps4 cult hit
A Plague Tale: Requiem follows up on where A Plague Tale: Innocence had left off. Amicia and her brother Hugo are back for another adventure during the Black Plague. Focus Home Interactive just released the first trailer of this upcoming sequel:
Something that upsets me during the Ps4 era is the shortage of horror games. To make it worst the protagonists are way too badass to make you feel vulnerable. I mean Chris Redfield punches boulders. Plague Tale: Innocence is a breath of fresh air. Instead of having the typical action hero, most horror games had been getting as the protagonist. We have a 16-year-old girl and her little brother.
A fan tweet Focus home interactive about a Plague Tale and the reply is very timely before the launch of the trailer:

The sequel is promised to be coming next year.
I remember back then, The first trailer of Innocence, got people predicting the game will flop. They are proven wrong because we are having a sequel now. The Mechanics of using a slingshot to control a hoard of flesh-eating rats is unique but has tendencies to be repetitive. In the end, I enjoyed the game because of the story. It is about Amicia, A teenage girl who protects her little brother Hugo from violent human assailants.
The first game shows how a young girl who is forced to lose her innocence, so can protect and save her brother. For the second game, Amicia and Hugo will have to face the pandemic of rats again. Not much plot where given in the sequel’s trailer but A Plague Tale: Requiem shows a lot of promise. I can’t wait to see some gameplay videos. The original tends to be repetitive so I hope they can add new elements to keep the experience fresh.
