A Free Version Of Dissidia Final Fantasy NT Is Coming
If you’ve been thinking about trying out Square’s Final Fantasy-themed brawler Dissidia Final Fantasy NT, but you’d rather not blow the full sticker price on it first, we have interesting news. Square is about to release a free version of Dissidia, fully functional and compatible with the paid version.
Naturally, you won’t be getting the entire game. The free version of Dissidia exists in a medium ground between a demo and the full game. You get more than you would with a demo, but less than you would with a paid product.
Not all the fighters will be available at once, but the number won’t be static either — the lineup will rotate in and out on a weekly basis. If there’s a fighter that someone would prefer stick around, they can purchase that character indivdually. The same goes with weapons.
DISSIDIA FINAL FANTASY NT Free Edition offers players the opportunity to try out a limited roster of characters on a weekly basis. A variety of characters and weapons are also available for individual purchase. This ensures that favorite characters can be a permanent member of a player’s roster. Players of the free edition can also play online* against existing players of the full game.
Note the asterisk after the word “online.” That means if you’re using the Playstation version, a PS Plus account is required.
The free version of Dissidia Final Fantasy NT will be out March 12 for Playstation 4 and PC via Steam.
