Horror distributor Devilworks is preparing to release the new chiller 100 Candles on DVD and VOD platforms in about a week.
A group of friends are holding a small party and decide the best way to wind down the night is to tell scary stories….and the best way to make the atmosphere extra-spooky is to dim the lights, surround themselves with a circle of candles (100 to be exact) and start trying to scare each other. Problem is, they had no idea they were telling these stories in front of a cursed mirror, and the end result is that they have to now tell one story for each candle until they all go out. No leaving the circle either, or you die. Sure hope everyone used the bathroom already.
100 Candles stars Amy Smart (oh hey, I remember her), George Blagden, Sibyl Gregory and Dee Bradley Baker. It was produced by Nicolas Onetti and Michael Kraetzer, and it’ll show up on DVD and VOD on May 18, followed by a full digital release later on.
North American Distributor Devilworks will be releasing the chilling new supernatural chiller 100 Candles across the USA and Canada on May, 18th 2021. The film will receive a full home entertainment release, with a day-and-date DVD and Premium TVOD, followed by a full digital release. 100 Candles centers around a game that traps a group of friends, as they tell one another horror tales in front of a magical mirror, by candlelight. One story for every candle, they cannot leave the game until all candles are out; otherwise they will fall victim to a witch’s curse.
